Aside from being a great show in general, they finally played Golden live, as well as a lullaby-esque version of The Black Sheep and the Shepherd. Nothing, however topped them playing Everything Louder Than Everything Else, one of my absolute favorites of theirs, for the first time, and ending it with a completely unexpected and over the top dubstep dance party, complete with goddamn lightsabers. I feel I should sensibly hate that with all my being, but I absolutely loved that sudden, absurd turn because it was amazing.

I’ll upload the videos I took before too long. I really should try getting some sleep soon though, because tonight, I will be hanging out with Patrick, trying to survive a ten hour “hongkongathon” of five Chinese kung-fu flicks at The Ritz, inexplicably starting at 10pm. I will feel incredibly accomplished if I managed to stay awake the whole time.
