Despite what seems to have been an almost inevitable “dream ending,” Awake was one hell of a series.
Regarding this whole Dan Harmon shake up, it should be noted that, for once, this isn’t exactly something to blame NBC over. I mean, yeah, they don’t seem to have gone out of their way to change matters, but they weren’t the ones behind this. The decision to effectively replace Harmon behind his back was ultimately, at least as far as I can tell, Sony Picture Television’s.
I know we’re all upset, but let’s try to direct our angry blogging and painfully meta Community references a little more accurately.

Wait, they filmed a first season? I thought NBC shut that down after the Kickstarter funding took off.
I’m not sure what’s worse, the new timeslot or the fact that said timeslot is after Whitney.
It’s kinda hard to watch and enjoy this week’s Awake knowing the show’s been cancelled.
NBC canned ‘Awake’ and everything hurts.
I knew that whole “this reminds me of Journeyman” thing was a bad omen.
